BODEGA TAPAS BAR, RANELAGH VILLAGE

Bodega is a new tapas bar in Ranelagh.  Went there a few weeks ago for lunch with John.  They have managed to turn the space from an open coffee shop into a lovely intimate tapas br. They had a very good lunch special of two tapas and any coffee for 9.50.  We ordered 4 tapas between us, Pastry filled with ratatouille, paella balls, caprese salad and garlic mushrooms and some bread.  Service was great and all the dishes were lovely with the exception of the ratatouille in pastry, which was a little bland.  We washed the above down with a glass of Spanish wine, which was very nice and finished off with cappuccinos.  A very welcome addition to my favourite village.
